Jaipur’s engineering graduates are about to get an opportunity that has long been missing from the city’s education landscape. A brand-new AI and professional skills training centre is set to open on Kalvari Road, near MNI, spanning nearly 5,000 square feet of purpose-built learning infrastructure — and every course it offers will be entirely free of charge.
The institute promises more than just classroom instruction, specifically designed for engineering students who find themselves unemployed or underemployed after graduation. From AI and machine learning to sales, marketing, communication, and startup support, the centre’s curriculum has been crafted to bridge the gap between a technical degree and a real-world career.
More Than a Classroom
What sets this centre apart from conventional coaching institutes is its emphasis on practical, industry-ready outcomes. Students will not simply attend lectures — they will work through real projects, participate in part-time and freelance assignments, and receive active placement support throughout their training. Centre Director Rajeev Sharma noted that this model was directly inspired by observations from Japan, where industry-linked training has consistently produced job-ready graduates even in highly competitive sectors.
The centre’s initial target is to reduce unemployment among enrolled participants by approximately 70 percent. Classes are designed to begin on the very first day, with no lengthy orientation periods, and the overall programme is structured so that students can pursue it alongside their existing commitments. A physical AI lab is being established on-site, equipped for hands-on work in drone technology, robotics, AI-embedded systems, and machine management, giving students exposure to tools they would otherwise encounter only deep into a professional career.
“The training here is not only theoretical — it is tied to real job placement, freelance opportunities, and startup launch support from the first week.”
Startup Founders Will Get Incubation Support
For students with entrepreneurial ambitions, the institute has built a dedicated incubation track. Aspiring founders will receive mentorship, company registration guidance, legal support, and introductions to sales and marketing channels. A physical AI lab, which the institute is developing within the premises, will enable startup teams to prototype with drones, embedded AI systems, and robotics. The centre has also formalised a tie-up with the Ministry of Skill Development to ensure that graduates have access to nationally recognised certifications and expanded career pathways.
Industry Connections from Day One
The centre has already established partnerships with several companies to create direct recruitment pipelines. Initial-level industry exposure will begin as early as the first week, with students working on live briefs from partner organisations. Training in AI tools, machine learning platforms, and marketing software — valued commercially at ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 — will be provided at no cost to enrolled students.
Beyond technical skills, the programme also addresses a gap that many engineering graduates acknowledge: they struggle to communicate, sell, or present themselves professionally. Courses in soft skills, interview preparation, group discussion techniques, and professional communication are woven into…
